live audio, simply connected

working toward an affordable connected studio
The Scramble Thing is a plug and play audio interface that speaks AVB, a live audio protocol that allows flexible control of audio routing around your network. What's so special about AVB is that it has no more than 2ms latency (class A) with zero jitter between connected devices across the network (up to 6 switches). AVB-enabled switches will guarantee the necessary bandwidth across the network, so other traffic won't mess up your live performance. The Thing Developer Edition is a Waveshare ESP32-P4-ETH with a mono 24bit CODEC, and you can couple it with an external CODEC of your choice using the onboard I2S pins.
